CVE-2026-85046, a type confusion vulnerability in Google Chromium V8, is under active exploitation and has been added to CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalogue. Google released Chrome 152.0.7977.82 on 4 September to address the flaw alongside eleven other security issues; the vulnerability affects multiple Chromium-based browsers and allows remote code execution inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. Cisco published fixes for CVE-2026-20212 in NX-OS Software, a remote unauthenticated code execution flaw that permits arbitrary code execution with root privileges.
